Paul Hillhouse Bio
Paul Hillhouse is a certified leadership coach who serves marketplace and mission professionals through DiscoveryL3 Solutions (DL3) and Coaching Mission International (CMI). He spent 26 years in Asia and the Pacific in leadership, training and social service roles where coaching was a fundamental approach to staff and indigenous leadership development. As a result, he brings frontline, “in-the-trenches” perspective to cross-cultural and leadership coaching issues, and has many stories of success and failure to prove it.
He is the author of a case study, “A Movement of Christ Worshippers in India,” which can be read in the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, William Carey Press, 1999. He is also a contributor to the Cross-Cultural Coaching section of “Coaching Questions: A Coaches Guide to Powerful Asking Skills.”
In addition to his work with marketplace professionals, Paul is the Director for CMI’s Returning Missionary / Mission Coach Training 2009. He works in several CMI coaching projects, and currently resides in Colorado with his wife and children.
