Julie Jensen Bio
Julie Jensen has been listening to people share their life stories for as long as she can remember. In the last five years she has become more intentional about this, as she has stepped forward into her role as Founder and Owner of Forward Journey Coaching. Julies mission as a coach is to help people discover their Voice as they become acquainted with their Authentic Self through their life story. By helping others learn to live a life of authenticity, clarify their goals and desires, and connect their life story to a greater purpose, she helps people move forward with decisions that lead them to a life of meaning and satisfaction.
Julie was trained as a coach in 2005 in a first-of-its-kind curriculum at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. In 2008, she became an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. She holds a BA from Seattle Pacific University. In 2010, Julie became a facilitator for Listen to My Life, a curriculum of visual maps that help people document their story for the purpose of spiritual growth and meaningful action. An avid reader and lifelong learner, Julie is always looking for new resources to further polish her coaching skills.
Julie and her husband Mark live in the Pacific Northwest, where they enjoy being connected with a vibrant church body and where both are involved in small group ministries. They have two grown sons who are currently finishing college.
