Order Your Life by Tanya Smith
Apr 14th, 2009 | By Tanya Smith | Category: Career CoachingToday I heard a message that was really meant for me. I wonder if you’ve had that happen? Right when you need it, God sends a special telegram just for you.
The message was, “order your life; don’t let it order you”.
I kept hearing this over and over in my head today as I scrambled to get up on time after having gone to bed at midnight. While I brushed my daughter’s hair and yelled at everyone in the house, “hurry up, let’s go!”. When I sped down the highway to get to that meeting that was so important. Even when I went to lunch to meet a prospective client.
There’s more, but I’m sure you get the point.
The Word says:
33But seek ([a]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([b]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [c]taken together will be given you besides.
34So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:33-34, Amplified)
So in essence, I hear this message saying once again, “order your life; don’t let it order you”. Prioritize God first and all the other things will fall in place. Whether it’s your daily work, a job search, your family responsibilities, or anything else – seek God first and calm down. God will order your steps when you put God in the rightful place.
Peace and abundant blessings.

I often think of this when the day becomes overwhelming. A little organization can save a lot of stress.
